AN ATOMIC WHIRL
(Japan/USA)

An Atomic Whirl is Kenji (Bass/Vocals, Japan) and Brian (Drums, USA). Our music combines chaotic noise, sudden soft melodies, and mathy arrangements, with a strong punk intensity permeating our live shows. Since 2013 we have toured extensively throughout Asia, in Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and China. We released our first full-length "Mado Ni" in 2015, followed by the "Wen" (on Heavy Baby Records) in April 2017. We're currently touring all over North America, and we're planning to release another full-length, "Tomato", (also on Heavy Baby Records), later in 2017.
An Atomic Whirl has been on tour for months and will be gracing Tulsa for the very first time with their eclectic blend of punk rock, progressive math, and non-musical noisecore. The duet sounds like a sextet falling down some stairs, in the most pleasant way possible.
